Digital Now IT operates under a philosophy known as the “triple bottom line.” Many businesses focus primarily on the traditional bottom line… profit. In addition to financial performance, however, we also add people and purpose into the mix.
As business owners, we are completely surrendered to God’s purpose and desire to bring the best out in the world. We believe that technology has the possibility to transform the world for the good of humanity. Our goal is to harness this potential and actively partner with community leaders and organizations to see this come to fruition.
We also believe that each human being bears the image of God. We long to serve God in all we do, but we also exist to serve people. Therefore, we desire to serve every person with dignity, grace, and respect.
Digital Now IT began in 2015 when two close friends decided to join together and launch a company that would provide businesses and non-profits with quality and affordable IT services. As high school and college students, both Taylor Johnson and Tyler Best worked as freelance IT professionals, developing websites for many local churches and businesses as well as providing on-site IT work to many Harrison County residents. Using this experience, they established their company with the urging of several local community leaders.
A successful business from the very beginning, Digital Now began turning a profit in its first weeks. Based in Corydon, Indiana, the reach of Digital Now IT expands far beyond Southern Indiana to assist businesses and non-profits throughout the United States and even around the world.
Upon the occasion of their third anniversary, Best and Johnson moved from their original location in the Harrison Center in Downtown Corydon to occupy a new office just down the street at 213 North Capitol.
During the course of Digital Now IT’s tenure, the company has managed to serve over 150 clients. Nearly half of the clients served were non-profits. The company currently retains over 20 clients and provide regular services to each. On average, our firm develops 24 websites per year with 3-4 per month in summer peak season.
In Digital Now’s work, there is a desire to fulfill a goal of improving the community. In 2017, we partnered with Otto Schalk, Prosecuting Attorney of Harrison County, Indiana, to produce a documentary that reveals the true effects of heroin in users’ lives as well as those around them. The film has been viewed by thousands. In addition to this contribution, each year Digital Now IT gives approximately 25 percent of their profit back to the community through non-profit discounts and gifts.
